Applesauce Pound Cake: A Favorite Among MRE Desserts!
Applesauce Pound Cake is one of my favorite MRE desserts, along with Lemon Poppyseed. I buy them in theory as prepping supplies, but in reality snack on them so often they're a regular purchase. They're not overly moist - nor dry either - and I like the random, slightly gummy bits of apple, whether real or faux. As should go without saying, these are shelf-stable military rations so judge taste in that contest vs. homemade by great-grandma!

I have ordered three time. Once they came in a box the two previous sent as individuals in a bag, I would prefer the box packaging instead of loose. The ad shows boxed. Overall, the product is very good

Oh my goodness!
This is some seriously good pound cake. I just received the package, and quickly tore into one to try it out. It's not exactly what I expected, but a lot better. Dang... I mean, I know what I'm having for breakfast in the morning. It will be perfect with a cup of coffee. And maybe another for my mid-morning snack at work. I don't think these are going to last around here for very long. Looks like I'll have to order another box 😁
