I am reawakening my drawing and sketching skills and had been reading a lot about brush pens. When this Faber-Castell brush pen was brought to my attention, I decided to make the modest investment and give it a try. Good decision!It is early days to say how I will incorporate this pen in my drawing and lettering plans, but I'm enjoying the creative journey and building my skills.The pen is light weight and very fluid/smooth when sketching. The india ink doesn't bleed through my basic sketchbook pages (a real plus). While it is very pleasant to use, it also requires practice to get a better feel and control over transitioning between fine and bold lines, and lettering.It really does feel like writing with a paint brush -- very smooth and flowing. I'm enjoying this new drawing experience.A great start!

The pitt pens are great for art that won't fade.. any color

I swear by these long-lasting, waterproof brushpens! They deliver a consistent line and don't have the dreadful stench of some other brushpens and markers. In my experience, they don't dry up easily at all, and I haven't had the issues that others have mentioned. I am a mixed-media artist and am using these in tandem with other pens & markers, however, so I may not be drafting as much as others - I've had the same brushpens for about two years and haven't yet had to replace them, but I do use them pretty frequently. The ink is very rich & black as well, and layers over many other markers/pens and pencil very well.

Just lowered this from a 5 to a 4 because of the Fudensoke Tombow pen which is my favorite right now. I just started teaching myself brush hand lettering about a month ago and this is in my top 5 favorite pens to practice with. I have wasted money on a few that ended up in the trash. I have the Tombow dual brush pens which I like quite a bit but I find this brush tip to be a bit more firm so I can create thin and thick strokes with one sweep of the pen.

Gold Green is a beautiful gold color. Pen covers and marks beautifully.

These India ink pens have become a regular sidekick in my acrylic paintings. Because my background is that of cartooning, I am used to control in making images, and these Pitt artist pens really produce wonderful effects. Typically, I do my normal acrylic painting with brushes when laying out a painting, then I add detail with the Pitt pens. Having used these pens for 6 months, I am now hooked forever. I was worried about the India ink fading over time, but Faber Castell assures its customers that the color from these pens is good for at least 100 years. Wow!

As an artist I really appreciated this brush tipped pen. Really good quality and writes smooth.

Let op! je krijgt maar 1 brush marker opgestuurd.Terwijl ze op de foto alle brush markers uit het doosje laten zien. En dat terwijl bij de productinformatie staat dat er 6 brushmarkers moeten inzitten.
