Leather protection, Storage, and Ventilation
Size: XXLBody Frame: 6ft 1in 260lbsProtection: I don't think there's a whole lot to say here, it's leather, probably one of the most affordable abrasion protections out there. You could go with Kevlar, but if you need a versatile jacket that will cut wind when needed and still provide superior abrasion resistance leather is the way to go. This jacket also comes with both elbow and shoulder armor from factory. Luckily I've never had to put either to use, but it's a nice feeling knowing that if I were to go down I would have some padding in those high impact zones to reduce the chance of serious injury. At the price point on this jacket, I don't think you can beat it.Storage: This jacket has extraordinary storage capability. I think I've counted about 7 pockets, almost all of which are massive. The main ones that stand out to me are the concealed carry pockets. With out a doubt in my mind you could carry a full size pistol within one of these (there is one on each side, so that covers both left and right draw) without a problem. I don't particularly carry in them, I feel that the firearm is a little too lose within them for my liking, but that may not be everyone's opinion. They do wonders for things like my phone, wallet, keys, etc though. I absolutely HATE riding with my wallet in my pocket, it creates a level of discomfort that is indescribable. If you're someone that usually removes their wallet while driving a vehicle you will enjoy the use of the pockets. The "hand" pockets are probably a little too small for actually putting your hands in while off the motorcycle, but I still utilize them for things like my garage door opener or my DOD ID. They're perfect for little widgets like that. They're easily opened while wearing gloves, which is a plus. The two front pockets double as chest ventilation. I don't typically have anything in those pockets, but they are massive and would provide you with plenty of storage if you like to keep your devices more readily accessible, but don't want to mount them on the motorcycle.Ventilation: 4 ventilation ports... I'm not sure you could find much better without looking into a mesh jacket, but then you would be sacrificing weather protection. I've warn this jacket in weather that reached into the 80Fs, and if you sit at a red light for too long sure you'll start heating up, but once you start moving again you'll be convinced without a doubt that the ventilation ports are working full time. With the bicep vent ports open you'll get a RAM air intake type affect that will push air up along your shoulders and then down and out through the 2 back ports. The 2 front pocket/vent ports probably do minimal, I haven't particularly noticed a difference with them open or shut, but I'm sure they have some sort of an effect. As a note, you can snap the cuffs shut around your wrist and open the forearm zippers to create even more air flow up your arms while riding. It's easy to see the ventilation working while riding down the highway, the jacket pillows up while catching and drawing the air internally and expelling it out the back.As of right now, this is my full time riding jacket with the exception of maybe the summer here in the South and for the price I would highly recommend it to anyone I came across. One thing I do need to mention is that after riding through a rain storm down in FL I noticed a little rust on the metal snaps along the wrist. This is probably mostly my fault for not properly taking care of the jacket after, but I feel it still needs to be noted if not for making sure y'all are informed to maintain the jacket.

Impressive
I’m 5’10 250 and got 3xl based on other reviews. I think 2X may have been better however as you can see in photos it is a bit short on the waist. 3x maybe too big in chest and big around but short in waist for my preference, but overall I’m satisfied with fit especially once it gets cold and I need to layer upPros:1. Thick, heavy, quality leather that isn’t dried out stretched, or destroyed by chemicals. Smells incredible2. Heavy, quality, easy to use and find zippers. Super confidence inspiring.3. Lots of pockets4. Good padding/protection that is easily removable/replaceable.5. Decent ventilationCons:1.Lack of adjustability around cuffs, waist, and neck. Neck has only one option snapped or unsnapped and I’m sure to make it work for everyone it is extremely loose fitting. Going to have to pack a scarf or hoodie or something in it when it gets cold. Wrists similar issue they have 2 options. Option one: too lose let’s a lot of air in good for hot days. Option 2: cut off all circulation and requires a friend to close for you unless you’re super talented. Waist has zero adjustability so it is just always going to let air in.2. Liner is s bit thin. Good for water proofing in the warm weather, but gonna need a few extra layers when it gets cold3. Hand pockets are too small. Can barely fit my average sized hands in at all.Over all I’d strongly recommend this jacket. I think the price is reasonable and I certainly think you’re going to get what you pay for. If you’re not afraid to return if it doesn’t fit perfect, I’d suggest buying true to size to start. I am the type that absolutely hates the hassle of returning stuff so I’m going to put up with something that is just a little too big vs something that is to small to wear at all.Small side note the “gun pocket” is kind of strange. It is positioned very a strangely and if you actually needed to draw your firearm you’re probably not going to make it home alive. Also for crying out loud please don’t just toss your gun in there without a holster! There is not enough retention and no form of cover for the trigger. It could make a reasonable place for a pocket pistol as a backup in a quality pocket holster.
