This is quite the handy little bin for kitchen food scraps. I was all smiles, when I opened it.Not sure about the smell yet, since it only arrived, yesterday. If it leaks any, I will rewrite this review. It is lightweight and nothing will break, if I drop it, as oppose to a ceramic one.Another great deal from Amazon..Thank You!

We use this little bin to dispose of cat litter. It blocks the smell of the used litter almost completely, you can only smell it a little when you get very close. It holds quite a bit, and it's easy to carry around with the handle and clean.

I moved into my boyfriends home a few months ago and he had an old compost bin on his counter. I hated it! Could never open up the top easily, it smelled and just was plain ugly! This bid is gorgeous! He even likes it!

This is the second composter I purchased from Amazon. My shopping criteria were removable liner, easy-off lid and easy to clean.The liner in the first composter was nice, but it was quite difficult to get out of the outside container so I returned the unit.This model has no liner, but has a smooth enameled finish with no joints, is simple to clean and won't have a problem with rust as long as the finish is intact.The lid is easy to remove with one hand.Bonus, no writing on the outside. Just a simple composter that looks good on my countertop.

Though I dump it frequently into my outdoor compost bin, there is no smell that comes from this bin. It cleans/rinses easily. Would definitely recommend.

Love the design. It's light, but sturdy and is holding up well with frequent use!
