I assume you knew that, and work in such a place, but wanted to come right out and say it just to be absolutely sure. I would be surprised if these were indeed intrinsically safe. I certainly would need assurance from the manufacturer about it, before I risked my life to find out. I work in such a place, so I'm probably more picky about it than most. **Q: Do these have a volume limiter?** A: Yes, you can control the volume with these earbuds. The three yellow buttons you see in the picture: Top button, volume up. Middle button, Power/pause. Lowest button, volume down. **Q: do these work with replaceable plugfones foam ear inserts rather than the tiered silicone inserts?** A: These do not have the replaceable tips. If you look into the Liberates they are out Bluetooth line with the replaceable tips you could put foam on. **Q: How do i pair this device to the samsung s9. i'm reading the instructions the phone is scaning and visabilty is on** A: Press and hold the power on button until it goes into pairing mode.
