Plenty of Variety
Okay, this is the first book review I have ever done and I find myself surprised that it is for a book of short stories. My personal preference is for novels or ideally a book series but I was pleasantly surprised by Trevor Watts book Zero 9-4. Most of these stories were truly engaging. Regardless of my predilection for novels I found that once I started reading I wanted to continue and quite a few of these stories brought a smile to my face.

Great sci-fi book
A great book of short stories to delight any sci-fi reader's palette, from lumps of rock with a facelike swirl to spaceships the size of villages. Every story fascinates and enthralls. Well done to the author.

Great read! Great characters , great humour - and serious chills down the spine!
Loved the sheer variety on offer among the stories, whatever the length or subject. Each packs their own punch, but is always bursting with engaging (even if not very pleasant) and believable characters, deftly detailed settings and underscored with wacky humour and bone tingling 'Oh My God'! moments. Go on, give yourself treat!

Exceedingly readable.
A highly recommended series - and using proper English spelling.

Not really my taste
I'm an older Sci-Fi fan, and was looking for a collection of short stories as I've been going back through older (1950s) stories and wanted to see what was currently being written. So, realize my review may not match up with younger readers, but I felt the stories were rather juvenile and not very engaging. Didn't get a "wow" at the end of any of the stories.
