I love these small pain relief patches. Been using them for over 15. Initially the small size was all you could get, so I used several to cover the area needing relief. Husband occasionally complained about medicinal smell, which dissipates rapidly after a couple of hours, but he used them also.

I have purchased these a couple of times to put on my shoulder and back for pain. They don't take the pain away entirely, but I find them helpful and able to reduce what I take orally for pain. I also put one at the base of my neck if I get a migraine and find it relieving. They are small enough you can keep some in your purse. If you are trying to cover a large area, you will need 2 or 3. I dont find them to irritate my skin and I have sensitive skin to adhesives. You can definitely smell when you are wearing them, but it is not offensive. If you wear one in an area that moves a lot, they tend to get wrinkles. By the time 12 hours is up, they are definitely without effect.

These work great for soreness. They get me through a shift

I could not live without the pain relief that Salonpas provides. I use this product on a regular basis. There is some skin irritation but only when I forget to remove them in the allotted time.
