This Asian Fruit Knife (Kom-Kom #503-1) was especially designed for keeping steady control of fruits and vegetables when cutting in hand (i.e. peeling, turning, paring, trimming, etc). They are light and versatile tools that are ergonomically designed to make common tasks quick and easy to perform. The distinctively spear-shaped blade is 4 inches long, the blade extending about a third of the way down the 3.5 inch handle with a thickness of 1mm and width of 1 inch at the base. Great knife, amazing price. Shipping takes a LONG time.. but it's worth it. Knife arrived well packaged and it's so super sharp! Would definitely buy this again.

Kiwi for Kom Kom
I was happy to find Kom Kom knifes available here. They are excellent and hard to find, I bought 2 but received one Kom Kom ($14.07) and one Kiwi ($5.89)- cheaper because it is...cheap: the screws that hold the handle are of poor quality, and the blade does not stay sharp at all. As the shape and size of the knives is similar, the seller must have thought that the customer wouldn't know the difference. I can't send the kiwi back because I live in Brazil and someone was kind enough to bring my purchase. I am very upset about it: the kiwi knife went straight to the recycling bin. I should get $8.09 back
