Little Book of Schiaparelli: The Story of the Iconic Fashion Designer: 11 (Little Books of Fashion)

Nice little book. It gives a good insight into Schiaparelli’s life from the very beginning of her design career. I’m now interested to read her autobiography to find out more about Elsa’s life. Book has a protective cover which has a more plain graphic on the hardback. There is a fair amount of clear images inside and would be a great for decor as well. Overall really happy!

This small-format book still manages to include many photos of the designer and her creations. Schiaparelli's rise to fame and her influence on the fashion world is well charted and her story is told in an easy to read style. It has encouraged me to read the designers autobiography and other works about her. Well worth it!

I'm a huge fan of Schiaparelli, and this little book is a fantastic overview of her life and work. For such a dinky book there is so much information and lots of fabulous pictures, both of original garments and contemporary illustrations. Any Schiap fan or fashion devotee should get this!

I was expecting these two books to be a little bigger, but they look nice on the coffee table.

Love reading these types of books

This is a great little book. It does what I like an art or fashion book to do; LOTS of pictures. I want to see the work with a small amount of text telling me something about it. That's it. I would love to see books in this series for Clair McCardel, Balenciaga, Madame Gres, and Vionnet.

I love this book. Lots of information. Jam packed with lots of photos coloured and black and white. Very easy and quick read. Lovely cover. I am really satisfied.
