Shu Uemura Eye Eyelash Curler

This is listed in all the beauty, magazines and webs websites as the best eyelash curler, and I can attest that as I have been using it for over 20 years. They are the absolute best, and by far you get the best curl due to the shape. Tried a few others throughout the years and they do not even compare. There is a reason why it’s voted number one and I replace them every few years and you can buy refills for the rubber part that goes in it. If you can’t find the shu uemura brand you can buy the Shedieo brand refills and they fit it perfectly. This is a must have make up staple. A little tip. I learned over the years is to lightly run your blow dryer over it so it gives it a little bit of heat and it actually acts like a curling iron. Just make sure not to get it too hot.

Shu Uemura Eye Eyelash Curler is a great eyelash curler if you have hooded eyes, asian eyes, or small shaped eyes. Most eye lash curlers if you have above, will pinch your eyes and hurt and also just not get all your lashed curled. However the Shu Uemura Eye Eyelash Curler is the best for these type of eyes - no pinching gets to the lashes and curls them well without pinching. It's the only eyelash curler I can use on my hooded smaller eyes and I have two - one for vacation and one for home! Makes huge difference in your eyes - opens your eyes and curls up all your lashes. This is a good product!

I have used the shiseido curler for over 20 years and have heard that the shu uemuna one is better for “Asian” eye shapes. I am not Asian, but I am Mexican and the shiseido curler has always pinched my eyelids so I’ve had to be careful using it even if it is otherwise great eyelash curler. I have not once had to be careful about pinching my eyelids with this curler though. While I’ve seen the frustration online that there is only one replacement pad sold with the curler, and a new curler has to be bought every time it gives out, I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it because not having to deal with pain while curling my eyelashes is so worth it

I bought this one from Amazon and another from South Korea (that won't be here til later) just to compare if this is fake or not. This one I've bought from Amazon is the best eyelash curler I've ever used for my small, round, slightly upturned, and deep set eyes. Doesn't pinch my eyelids, first curler that hasn't done that on me. And the curl is unreal! No wonky lashes, it curls them all in one pass. I will never use another brand other than the shu curler for the rest of my life. I'm converted
