Sunlite Cloud-9 Bicycle Suspension Cruiser Saddle, Cruiser Gel, Tri-color Black

Keeps the pressure off my 73 year old pelvic bones. So many choices this is the one recommended on YouTube, Cruiser AR Saddle. Fit right on seat post Huffy adult crusier bicycle, very happy, makes riding bearable.

I purchased a HYPER 29" Explorer MTB bicycle. The small seat that was on it, as I call those types of bicycle seats, Wedge-e Seats (aka; Banana seats), was NOT the seat that I was going to sit on mile after mile! I am 55 years of age, 6'6" and about 200 pounds with NO padding on my backside that sits on the seat! I am just a casual rider. I do not ride on the trails, yet ride my bicycle to school (the University). Therefore, it is 99+% used on the pavement, not on trail riding. It is the Answer for everyone who does not want, or cannot ride on a Wedge-e seat (aka: banana seat)! It is Much Better than the Schwinn or Bell saddle seats, it is comfortable, it is padded, yet not soft nor hard. You just can't go wrong with this seat by Sunlite, the Cloud-9 Bicycle Suspension Cruiser Saddle seat. Amazon got it here in a very short period of time, and am very happy with Amazon's responsibility to get the products to the customers very fast and as described by Amazon's website! The seat arrived with the necessary attachments, so that it would attach the Cloud-9 to the metal (aluminum) rod, that any bicycle seat attaches to. I could have used the attachment(s) that my bicycle had with the seat that it had on it, yet the Sunlite Cloud-9 Saddle seat already has those attachments, so NO need to worry about the metal attachments for the seat attaching to the metal rod (post) of the bicycle! It took me a few tries before I got the seat in the correct (flat) position, so that it would not flatten out the Family Jewels! Because it took a few tries, I noticed the Sunlit Cloud-9 seat can be adjusted forward or backward according to notches. Therefore, you do not have to try to hold the seat in a perfect position when tightening down the seat to the metal rod (post) of the bicycle. I have not left it out in pouring rain, yet looking at the design and the material, it looks very waterproof, not just water resistant. The Cloud-9, I found out, is one of the widest seats available on the market. It looks GREAT on my bicycle! If you do not have a lot of padding on your rear or you just don't like the feel of a Wedge-e seat (banana seat), then this is where your money is best spent, on the Cloud-9 saddle seat! It will make your rear end feel much better after many miles per week or per day versus the smaller more narrow seats! The dimensions after the Cloud-9 was attached are: Width: about 11" Length (front to back): about 10" Height from the Post: about 5.75" ( I have my seat down as far as possible, that prevents my backside being up in in air versus the handle bars) The Height of the seat itself, that is, the padding portion is about 2.25" GREAT for those who are looking for a wider seat with more cushion for their rear end!

I didn't know what a standard seat post was and this would not mount without a new seatpost for me . This mounts on a 7/8 inch shaft end off whatever size seat post diameter your bike frame accepts . That said I now purchased the proper seat post and can review the seat itself . My bike came with a very expensive seat that was 100% quality leather . Only problem it was absolutely not comfortable . I am 55 , 6 1 and 195 pounds and need some cushion in my seat . This has two large springs that provide that . It has a very nice cover and looks very nice . I think it looks much better then the $80 seat that came off . It is very comfortable and the bumps are tempered by the springs and its cushion . It is also large enough that if you get a little sore you can move around on it easily . Further it has a place for your tailbone pocketed in it too that helps . It was definitely worth buying . Seats are easy to change as long as you understand what your frame requires for the seat post size and you have the proper mounting type at the top of the seat post . My original bike had a rail seat mount not a 7/8 round post like this seat requires so take a look and make sure you buy everything you need so you can get comfortable as soon as possible . This was a very nice addition to my bike and truly it looks very nice and of the highest quality . Few if anyone will know you bought a $25 seat thinking it is much more expensive . It will give your bike a very nice look the color scheme goes with any bike . There are two large negatives for some individuals however . There are no tabs for mounting a tool kit or seat bag from the top of the bottom of the rear of the seat . Most cyclists need every possible option for carry options . This was especially critical as I bought a bike that offers less then normal opportunities already . Great seat - one star for no tool bag tabs and the second issue is it soaks up water when it is in rain leaving you with a wet seat , carry a plastic bag with your 99 cent rain coat . I wish I could tell you to put it in your seat bag. Lastly for those who need to go over how this mounts remember your seat post lower diameter needs to be the proper size for your frame the top needs to be 7/8 inch to mount the seat too . This one worked for my 27.2 inch frame it is sold here so put it in search if you want to see what the top 7/8 diameter mount looks like . You just put this on the post and tighten the nuts with a wrench with the seat positioned level . Kalloy Straight Seatpost 27.2 x 300mm Silver Note : seat was great out of the box but is truly improving as it breaks in . I have started riding much and the more I use it the more comfortable it is getting . If you have a bad spine you should at least try it and if you can a firm or adjustable suspension seat post also . The only downfall to using a suspension seat post is how it raises the minimum saddle height about 2 - 3 inches .

OK. Let me start out by saying that I had my doubts about this seat when I received it. I expected it to be a squishy gel seat. It is not. That being said, I am glad it isn't. It is more of a stiff material but it is by no means hard. Putting the seat on the bike was simple. I didn't even need my husbands help! I just put it on and tightened down the nuts. I haven't had any problem at all with the seat being loose or moving around. I think the people that are having that problem need to tighten the nuts. The seat does sit higher than my other seat but that doesn't bother me at all. I just got back from a 2 hour bike ride with my kids and I am amazed! I have no pain at all. With my stock seat, only a few minutes of riding would cause pain and if I pushed it to an hour, I would feel bruised for days! I am really impressed. I never imagined it would make that big of a difference. I am about 135 lbs but I can feel the springs working as shock absorbers. The springs seem sturdy enough to handle considerably more weight. I needed the wider seat to accommodate my wider hips after having children. This seat works perfectly. I almost gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the description says gel seat and it is actually made of multi-stage foam. I think the description should reflect the actual product. If the seat wasn't so perfect, I might be more upset about that! Also, not all of the reviews on here are for this seat. If you'll notice, some of the pictures are of different seats. The seat I received is black with a white line and C-9 on the side and a blue logo on the back. No stitching or anything like that. I hope it continues to be as comfortable as it was for me today! I highly recommend this seat!

I'm 19 and just learned how to ride a bike last summer. I found an EXCELLENT conditioned bike at a yard sale for 10 dollars. Only problem was that the seat was so uncomfortable that it left me SO painfully sore for FOUR days after riding only TWO miles on it. I ordered this seat after looking at the reviews. I kept hearing that Cloud-9 was a very nice quality comfort seat. Along with that, I was told that bike seats would range from 20-80 dollars. This hit the price point and quality standard that I was looking for. Looking at the reviews, I saw that older heavier men thought this seat was very comfortable, so I figured I would have no issue at all with my weight holding or affecting the shocks. I have a big butt and I wanted to make sure I wasn't hanging off of the seat. I figured TEN AND A HALF INCHES was GREAT. There are almost no 1/2 star reviews, and even those reviews were mostly buyer mistakes. Though there is a cheaper good quality bike seat on Amazon, I figured a few more dollars and piece of mind was worth it. The other seat had a lot of "the seat was hard" and a much bigger amount of 1/2 star reviews. When I buy something online, I don't want to have to worry about IF it'll be good for me. I want to be CONFIDENT that it will be perfect for me. Though I did almost get the other seat, I'm glad I bought this one! I don't know squat about bikes, but I just took my old seat off the pole and tightened this one on. Done. Took about 5 minutes if even. I did notice that I had to tighten it REALLY well because if not, the seat will tilt forward/backward if you lean too much while riding. The shocks are great and when I hit dips or bumps on the street, it actually feels kind of fun because I know I won't be potentially killing my future children or leaving myself with no-no zone bruises. This is EXACTLY what I thought a great bike seat would be like. It's absolutely perfect and the material makes it feel really expensive and nice. My best investment of the year!!!

It was easy to install on my Aventon Pace 500 suspension seat post. Sitting on the seat while it was level bothered my sit bones and sensitive areas. I tilted the seat slightly forward made all the difference, perfect for me. The complaints about spring creaks are resolved by spraying "Silicone" spray (not WD40) on the spring pivot points (the spring ends) and even on the springs (just cover with rag to prevent overspray).....this removed all squeaks! Love this seat and it's feel. Breaking in period of or 5 so rides underway, rides better each time.

I like a lot of things about this seat, and for someone with no other arthritis issues who is just looking for a more comfortable seat, this would definitely be a good choice. What I like: the suspension that keeps the bumps from hitting you so hard, and the gel really is nice - not so soft that you just sink down into the seat but not too hard either. My only problem, that most people don't have, is inflammatory arthritis that affects the sacroiliac joint. I can't run anymore so decided to take up biking because my legs badly need retoning. So, given that, I am not a serious rider, at least not yet; still only doing a few miles to build up. But I do feel this seat after those few miles, and it unfortunately hits on each side right at the point of the lowest part of the sacroiliac joint . . . so this seat is not for me. I know everyone gets a little saddle sore, but I can't afford to have a seat that aggravates my arthritis after just a few miles. The seat that came with my bike is nice and wide, which I liked, but it wasn't particularly cushioned. I saw that this particular manufacturer does have a wider gel seat, which I have ordered, and I will see if that works any better for me. If so, I will return this one. I am not at all heavy, in fact I only weigh about 105 pounds, but with my "special needs" I think a wider seat would work better.

Seems ok. I took a while to remove the bracket. Added a standard pneumatic zoom post and had to bend the rails. I usually wear padded pants but didn’t do so for the test. No pain ,then back to readjust the angle

man sitzt auf diesem Sattel auch total bequem. Schöner großer Sattel und wie schon gesagt, sehr bequem. Habe diesen Sattel bei einem Youtuber gesehen und dachte mir, den testest du mal und was soll ich sagen ? Sehr toller Sattel Edit nach über einem Jahr (März 2025): immer noch wie am ersten Tag, selbst der Aufdruck hat sich nicht abgelöst bzw. sieht der Sattel aus wie neu. Bin in dem ganzen Jahr ca 6000KM mit Fahread gefahren und ich bin kein Leichtgewicht ! Top Preis/Leistung

This bike seat seems to be of good quality and looks great on my trike. It's not quite as soft as I thought it would be but it is much better than the stock seat that came with the trike. It's nice and wide which is also much more comfortable. I have it fitted with the NCX SR Suntour suspension seat post. It was easy to fit and I had no trouble with the rails being "too wide" as described in other reviews. The seat and seatpost work very well together so I would happily recommend this combination👌. Also, so far there has been no squeaking or noise from the seat 🙏.
