Best converters for sensitive ears
These converters are a game changer. I have a nickel (and most metals in general) that is so bad I have scars. Traditional clip-ons can work for a small period of time, but I usually break out in a rash. These converters keep the metal from my skin and are nearly invisible. I wouldnโt think this works for everyone, but it should for most. My earlobes arenโt sensitive to pressure which works in my favor. I do notice them slipping throughout the day, however, most traditional earrings (french hooks) can work their way out anyways. Side note: the instructions for the first type (where you insert the post) says nothing about glue. USE A DAB OF SUPER GLUE. I clip off most of the post, leaving 2-3mm of the post on the backside of the earring and dip THIS into a bit of glue, before inserting into the converter.

Hole is too small to fit earring posts
These are pretty great except that the hole to insert the earring posts is too small for even a 20 gauge post which is the smallest most earrings come in. Iโve instead needed to cut the whole post off and glue the earring which is a bit of a pain because the best glue for it has a longer cure time and you need to hold it on for quite a while to make sure they are in place enough. Plus it feels a little less secure than if it was stuck in the hole.

Perfect for allergy kid!!!
Perfect! My daughterโs skin is super sensitive and has allergic reactions to all her earrings. She wanted so desperately to be able to wear something cute and I found these. They are simple to use and work perfectly. Now my daughter can wear anything I can put on them. I typically cut the stem down off an earring and stick the stem into the small insert area of the ring and I glue it together just for extra security. I have made her a few dozen earrings so far and she loves them. You canโt even really tell itโs not a true earrings unless youโre staring for some reason. Absolutely made my daughter feel cute finally.

Slips off.
A waste of money and time. Hard to attach to ears and slips off easily. You will lose a lot of earrings with these.

Good for small earrings
Lovely idea and works on smaller earrings but after a couple hours the earrings started falling off

I highly recommend these!
They show you a pretty clear set of steps on the Amazon page on how to convert post earrings into these invisible clip-ons. So, you will need wire cutters for jewelry and some super glue to complete the task. Work on a high contrast surface as these truly are tiny and nearly invisible. You will also need earrings that you don't mind cutting off the metal post. I purchased a multi-pack of very cheap earrings to practice with and was very pleased with the final result. Based on the low price of the earrings that I purchased to test these with; I would never have considered wearing them as pierced even though they were described as hypoallergenic. So, this was a better solution for wearing cheap earrings than pierced would be! However, I have far more expensive silver and gold earrings from my younger days before a piercing grew shut that I would never consider trimming down the post and thereby ruining them. Therefore, a word to the wise in regard to what sort of earring you convert by this method as it will be a permanent solution. These will be comfortable if you first lightly spread the sections that will fit over the earlobe to stretch the earring a bit. Don't open too widely as you risk breaking the plastic resin or over stretching and losing elasticity. To attach to your ear, first slide the earring further up the lobe near the ear opening and then glide them down in place. It will take a bit of practice at first so don't give up on the first try. These are so much more comfortable than metal clip-on earrings, they are super light, and the level of realism is outstanding. The price is an excellent value for the conversion of 50 pairs of earrings. It doesn't get any better than these! I probably would not recommend these for someone with arthritis but for anyone else these are an excellent solution in regard to finding decent clip-on earrings that tick all the boxes for appearance, comfort, and price.

Not as pictured
Bought the 2 size package. Picture shows the larger size has a small hole for attaching dangles using a jump ring. They in fact DO NOT have this part. They simply have a tiny cone shape meant for gluing stones onto.

Pretty cool
I'm happy with these overall. Some seem to be a bit tighter fitting but if you just slightly bend them open a touch it helps stretch them. Be careful not to stretch them too much or they won't fit and hold on any longer. We have been super gluing our regular earrings into these. It works well for lighter earrings. I have a pair of slightly heavier earrings that I'll have to find another clip on option for, which is fine. More so mentioning it for anyone that needs that info. You really don't see them on unless you're looking for them or pretty close. My daughter stopped wearing regular earrings after an injury years ago and is happy to have this option. I haven't been able to wear regular earrings since a neck surgery botched my nerves. When I would try to wear regular ones it would send excruciating pain all up my face and down my neck. I can wear these without any of that pain which is fantastic for me!! Sometimes it really is the small things that can perk you up. Would purchase again. The only things I'd say is to maybe include some kind of info or even instructions with them but we figured it out pretty easily. Also, after wearing them for a long time, it can hurt a bit from the part that sits against your skin. Would be better it they had a flatback design.

Great for thin earlobes
They look invisible on the ears unless you look closely or if lights reflect off of them. Be aware that some earrings posts might be too thick or too thin to insert into the converter's hole. Because of the tiny size, I can imagine that they will probably not go on thick earlobes.
