The bug net is completely integrated which means there is absolutely no way for bugs to get in unlike other hammocks with removable bug nets/ completely separate bug nets if that aspect of being outside bothers you. That is also a con though however as you can never take it off, it also only has one entrance to get in from and the other side is simply sewn into the hammock seamlessly, luckily however it is a double zipper which makes it perfect for use as a gear hammock.
