A friend turned me onto Xylitol for oral health, and so I decided to swap this out for my old-school alcohol based mouthwash. What a difference! It's such a pleasant experience and doesn't burn your mouth, while still giving you a super fresh taste/feel. I like knowing it's not drying out my mouth or killing off my flora. And, perhaps best of all - I had a cleaning today with my hygenist, after a longer than usual absence, and she complimented me, saying that things looked better than expected since it had been awhile. Note, I probably don't need to say this because most people know. But I live with a Vet, and I can't implore you enough...if you use this or any product with Xylitol, make sure to leave it far, far away from any place that your pet can get to it. The tiniest amount of Xylitol can kill your dog.Will definitely keep buying this again and again! This is my third bottle so far...

This mouth wash really does keep tartar off your teeth and it doesn't burn BUT be very careful with how you handle it if you have a dog. Don't be clumsy and spill it because it's extremely toxic to dogs and they will try to lick it up because it's sweet. Xylitol which is a big part of this mouth wash affects and can seriously damage organs, cause seizures and/or even result in a dog's death. Any product sweetened with xylitol will do the same but it's a very good product for reducing cavities and keeping tartar off teeth for people.

My daughter prefers minty toothpaste so I knew she would love this. We use it daily and have had no issues or bad dental checkups.
