As the coffee (or tea) gets wet, it swells and reduces the flow of hot water so it can back up and leak past the cup. **Q: Will these work with a hamilton beach flexbrew? i tried the brew & save brand and they will not work, the lid will not close.** A: Don't know about the Hamilton Beach. I have a Keurig, and they work very well. Be sure to get the little liners **Q: Will these fit the Keurig duo machine?** A: It doesn’t fit easily into our Duo: I have to push down hard and force the lid to close and every time I feel I will break something (unlike the ease of k-cup pods).
