Worked perfect on a 2018 pilot,Install took 5 minutes

I bought this because of a constant error message on my 2016 Honda Pilot. My husband easily installed and the error message went away immediately!

Just installed it under 10 min. Works fine at time 0. Beware that Honda has extended warranty for the ignition switch to 10 years, 125k mile; so you might be able to get a free fix from a dealer. My car has 130k and I've decided that $38 is cheaper that the trip to the dealer and the hassle of negotiating the grace period.Update: stopped working after 3 weeks (It was one incident, but I could not start the car for 10 min, got error code). Luckily it was less than 30 days, so I could return for refund. I put the original Honda one back - it gives the code, but at least I can start the car.

Perfect fit

I received this replacement part for my wife's Honda Pilot quickly and after watching a short You Tube Video I was able to replace it very easily in less than 15 minutes. The video shows how to carefully pop the lower part of the cover below the steering wheel and remove one screw to get to the Ignition Switch. Unplug the old switch and plug in the new one and pop everything back into place. It works perfectly!

Item does not work after the return window. Started getting the ignition system error month and a half after purchasing it.

We were afraid that we don't know how to install it. it ends up the installation is easy according to a youtube video. It fixed the problem with small cost.
