Product itself super, but poor Amazon packaging
The is wool roving is so nice. I appreciate that itโs naturally colored and not dyed. It doesnโt have any strange chemical smells or odors. Itโs plenty soft. *** My only complaint is Amazon is so goofy. The wool comes on this handy nice storage box, but Amazon packed the order in a bubble wrap envelope. Of course, the box got completely crushed. I hope the seller can place a complaint to Amazon itself in regards to this very poor packaging.

Good amount of wool for price
Great core wool. Pretty clean and super easy to use. Itโs a lot of wool here so itโs a great value. This brand is def a go to for quality and price.

SUPER soft!
I found this at a discount in the warehouse, which made it an even better deal. Cashmere top is pricey stuff, but worth it if it's from quality fiber. This is very good quality fiber. This will be wonderful for spinning, although you could also needle or wet felt with it if you want. It would dye beautifully, too.

Beautiful, soft, luxurious
This wool is sooooo sooooo soft. I made a full set of dreads using this roving. I like that the wool is naturally striated with beautiful color. My finished product is not one solid color so it looks much more natural. The roving is not difficult to tear to length nor is it hard to divide width wise. Yet the roving is strong, solid...not fragile (if that makes sense?). The color is various shades from almost brown to natural, my hair is naturally a dark dirty blonde with no sun exposure and the when the wool is felted, it blends pretty closely to my natural hair color. This is my first time making and wearing wool dreads. I originally tried some really cheap stuff from H.L. and only after getting the hang of the process did I upgrade. I ordered two varieties, this merino wool and a different brand with corriedale and this was hands down the winner in softness and color. I used a wet felting method to make my project. I installed them a few days ago and the difference between these and the synthetics I've been making and wearing for the past few years is night and day. I love the softness, I love the weightlessness, I love that they resemble my natural hair extremely closely. There is absolutely no itchiness. I don't smell anything on this wool. Lol, my husband keeps petting these because they're so soft! I don't know if I'll ever go back to synthetic fiber.

Very good quality wool for my squirrels
I bought this for a different reason than most. I have some neighborhood squirrels that I feed and who come visit. It gets pretty cold in winter here, so I bought some wool to help them so they could insulate their nests. I chose wool cause it said it had antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, would keep warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and would insulate even when wet, among other things. I left chunks of wool out for them - the first few days, they didn't take it, probably not sure what it was for, but when it really started to get cold, they gladly snatched up all the wool left out for them. We had a really cold winter last winter, where we even had -40 degree for 3 weeks straight so I'd like to think the wool helped keep them warm and survive the winter because the same ones have returned to visit. It's not quite cold out yet, but I've started to put some wool out for them again and they are happily carrying it away with them already.
