Because the arrow is placed through the bow, it is stable and the kids just have to navigate pulling the string and then turn loose of the arrow. Some have that skill perfected and others are not giving up!! We were practicing in the house and at 10' and the target was easily hit and the arrows stuck. The 4 year old easily carries arrows in the quiver. Great toy!! Would buy again! Will see how long it lasts, but they are very proud of it!

This is obviously for kids so don't think it will shoot far. You have the option to tighten the bow string which is nice but it doesn't do much. My 6 year old has a blast playing with this. Max distance to be effective is about 6 feet or so. It also come with a blow dart which I found is more fun than the bow. Endless fun taking turns with the bullseye and playing for points with your little one.

First of all, I want to say that my Granddaughters are thrilled with this toy. Their Daddy competes in Barebow Archery and so they are familiar with archery and shooting. The problem is that this IS a TOY. The arrows are plastic and are not straight. Attempts to straighten them, by an adult, resulted in one being broken. A certain amount of strength is required by the child to shoot one and get the suction cup to stick. So there is a learning curve. Perhaps directions on how to set up the bow and get the arrows seated would be helpful for those who have never done this. With parental help they figured it out. The blow gun was useless for the kids, they were unable to get the dart beyond a foot past the gun. Perhaps a 10 year old could do it, only the adults could do it at our house. I know this sounds negative, but really, the girls are having fun with this. We put it in the basement along with the other "outdoor" type toys they have.

$50 seems like a reasonable price for an archery set, but this is dollar store quality. I think $19 would be more adequate. For the price, I was expecting a sturdy set. Too many issues to list them all, but most noteable would be the target. The target stand is really unsteady. While the arrows don’t stick well, they do knock the stand over. Also, some directions would be helpful. The parts arrived loose in the box with minimal stand assembly printed on the box. I don’t know… if you’re planning to spend $50, you could definitely find a better set.

Love that it came with 2 sets of arrows. I got it for my 5 year olds birthday after I discovered him, his brother & stepdad made bows & arrows out of sticks. While i loved their ingenuity to do that together, I thought they would like having an arrow with a target. Boy was I right!! My 5 & 9 year old boys love playing this together. We have a long hallway in the house that they can set it up in or they can take it outside. Money well spent!!

Looks good and easy to use. Definitely worth the purchase.

Half of the suctions don't stick, they just bounce off. Some arrows are bent so it doesn't go in the direction you point. Blow bow doesn't work and arrows don't stick, too. Waste of money!

Ordered this for the grandchildren. They had been waiting and once they saw what it was they opened it right away. This did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
