I love them when I want luminous, vibrant pops of color in an illustration and the work perfectly alongside traditional watercolors. They're lovely and now that the bottles have dropped built in, they're even more convenient to use.Please note that, as with other dye-based inks, Ecoline colors are not lightfast. They will fade if exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. This means that while they are perfect for illustration or hand lettering that will be scanned onto the computer, they aren't an ideal choice for work to be directly displayed or sold as orthogonal art. As long as you understand what you're buying, you won't be disappointed.Ecoline is directly comparable to Dr. Ph. Martin's Radiant Liquid Watercolors, which I have used in the past and are also very nice, but Evoking comes in at a lower price point. I like both, but find Ecoline to be a better value. The colors are exceptionally concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
