Q: Any plans to come up with a smaller version of the Classic 40" for smaller households?

We have the One20 and One30 Series Arteflame grills. these are resp. 20" and 30" in diameter. Both also convert to fire pits as the cooktops are also removable. Would either one of those work?

Q: What do you recommend to clean it with that won't scratch or damage it?

Use a flat front scraper on the cooktop to scrape off all food residue, then wipe down with a rag and a tiny bit of cooking oil. That’s it. The Corten steel does not require any maintenance or cleaning.

Q: How much does this weigh?

The cooktop alone weighs in at 170lbs as it is made of 1/2” carbon steel! The good news is that the grill comes with a lifting tool so the cooktop can easily be removed using a 2x4 and 2 persons. The total weight is right around 320 lbs.

Q: Do you have any recommendations for use in households with kids?

Having a household of 5 kids ourselves, we're very aware of how our grills are used with kids. Grills, by design, are made to cook food and as such, they do get hot. Expect the outside edge of the cooktop to get to 250F or so while the lower part of the grill will only be warm to the touch. Our kids love the Arteflame because everyone can easily grill their own food. Even our youngest one can make a perfect burger. 's'mores are always a big hit as well. Its and lots of fun for the whole family!!!
