My Fight at O.K. Corral

Not what I was expecting.
Not quite what I was expecting as it seems to be information copied from the net into book form. Having said that the court reports made the book absolutely fascinating if you want to know about the OK coral.

Facts...nothin' but the facts.
A factual reportage of the incident in Tombstone. Starts with Wyatt's testimony in his own defense right after the gunfight. Biography and newspaper quotes from many historical characters of the Old West. Straight up facts...with little editorial opinion.

Fight OK Corral
My Fight at OK CorralVery good read. Several transcripts from courts, judges, and eye witness bears light to what really happened, however the actual truth may never come to light.I mean from the stand of prospective only, there is the truth of events as perceived by those present, there is also the truth as perceived by those involved, and finally the truth of what actually happened. Many details offered by everyone involved so this account is perhaps the best account of the truth of what happened at the gun fight at the OK Corral in Tombstone, AZ.

Good Read
It was very informative and interesting to read the first hand accounts by Wyatt Earp, Ike Clinton and others. I would highly recommend this for any fan of history, the Wild West, etc

Actual Court recorder copy from the trial, and other pertinant material.
This book is not fiction but is comprised of factual statements and events beginning with Wyatt Earp's sworn nine-page statement in court concerning the events leading uop to the OK corral gunfight, which was mostly in the street, only one of the combatant's, Ike Clanton, threw down his gun and ran into the corral. He started the fight, really, but when the shooting started he ran away and left his brother and two cousins to be killed. None of the Earps or Doc Holliday were killed, but a couple got slight wounds. After all this testimony the judge released Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday. The book is only 77 pages, with most of them pertinent to facts of the most famous gun battle in the history of the old west.Another must read that I bought from Amazon a few years ago is, "I married Wyatt Earp" by his second wife, Josphine Sarah Marcus Earp. Some of her story has been discredited but I am more inclined to believe her than her detractors.

He loved it, and said it was very interesting
Purchased this for my husband's birthday. He loved it, and said it was very interesting. If you or someone you know is interested in Wyatt Earp or any of the "old west" kind of stuff this book is fantastic.
