Used this with my metal fire pit grill to protect our backyard grass from charring. Worked well. Kept silver side faced up to reflect the heat away from the ground. Bear in mind that this protector is supposed to be used with firepits with legs with a recommended clearance of 4" between the reflector and the heat source.The orange side appears to be silicone and provided slip resistance on our patio deck.A draw string is included that acts as a carry bag.

Thin material. Had to place hot pad under it to protect the surface of table.

Not that we need protection from the solo stove as the bottom doesn’t heat up but it does give some peace of mind. Perfect size for the solo stove Yukon.

I would not recommend it for long periods on your antique dining table. I tested it with a charcoal grill 10" above a white pine board. The board was slightly discolored and hot to the touch but otherwise fine. Would work fine on a picnic table.

First time I used my fire pit it killed my grass below. With the pad I didn't get a brown spot later on in the week where my fire pit was. It's also nice that it's waterproof and easy to rinse off.

Worked a treat! My grass got burnt last year by the same fire pit, all I had to do was water the lawn and put the mat under the pit. So worth the money, great investment 👍🏼

The media could not be loaded.  I used this mat on my camping picnic table to cook with my little solo stove. Protected the table well, Easy to clean, and stows away well.

I use this under my hibachi grill. It is easy to rinse off and put away. I like it
