Tall Raised Panel Dog Steps, Carpeted Tread with Stained Early American, 23-Inch

My dog didn't like those other doggie steps because they are plastic and don't feel sturdy. He doesn't trust them. These stairs are wooden and are solid. It is like a real staircase. I am 150lbs and can stand on the stairs. They are also tall enough for my dog to get on my tall bed. He is a Pug. The carpet helps with traction. I 100% recommend these for anyone with an old dog or any dog too little to get up on furniture. They were more then what I wanted to pay, but it is because they are so well made. I'm glad these are the ones I bought. There were a few I was looking at. Also shipped really fast. I thought it was going to take a week or more. They were there in a few days. Not even Prime.

Steps are sturdy, well made and look great! We have two German Shepherds, 50 lb. female and 95 lb. male. Our bed is a little high and now that they're getting older they sometimes have difficulty jumping up onto the bed when they've had a really busy day. When the stairs first arrived I coaxed them up and down w/small dog treats, they learned super quick and always use the stairs now to get on the bed. They both prefer to jump off of the bed. My only complaint is the that the stairs could be wider, they're only 16 inches wide, a bit narrow for my male.Product review update 07/21/20: Both of my GSDs go up and down the stairs daily with ease. Initially they both preferred to jump off the bed instead of using the stairs but that only lasted for about a week. Also, my very large male quickly and easily adjusted to the width as well. My apology to the manufacturer for the delayed update of my initial review, these stairs are EXCELLENT. I HIGHLY recommend these stairs to anyone. I would definitely buy them again but don't believe that will ever be necessary. The stairs come fully assembled, they are EXTREMELY solid and are EXTREMELY sturdy. The stairs are just as solid and sturdy today as they were when I received them June 2017. Also, the stain and clear coat finish and the carpet are still in excellent condition, like brand new.

Damaged. Box it came in was in perfect condition still. Top step looked like it was never attached correctly. The one screw never even went into wood of step. Other one was bent over. Nails used were bent over and the screws pulled out from wood. Very unhappy.On the plus side now. The person includes their card. Was able to send them picture's of the damages. They made every effort to make it right for me. Very nice. Felt happy at the very end. Not the sellers fault.The unit is still very nice. I would recommend it to other people. Hard to find things made in the USA these days. This is a quality made product that is made.

Bought this after we replaced all our carpeting with wood floors. Our small dogs (Westie, chihuahua/poodle mix) couldn't get any traction to jump up on our bed. Plus, they are getting up and age and probably need to stop jumping anyway. This is very sturdy, well built, and is like a piece of furniture -- which is good because it sits at the foot of our bed and is the first thing seen when entering our bedroom. The color we selected matches our oak bedroom furniture perfectly. It was expensive compared to other steps we looked at, but well worth it. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Sturdy, well made, and heavy. Wood matches my wood floors perfectly. Expensive compared to other steps but looks like it will last years to come and can replace carpeting when needed, I am very happy with my purchase.

Works perfectly for both my small dog and older kitty. Came well wrapped and protected. Very pleased with the quality. I would recommend this product for sure.

We have two basset hounds, 64 pounds of clumsy cuteness. The step is sturdy enough to support them, and the carpeted treads keep them from slipping. I did add, non-slip, rubber furniture pads under the four corners to keep it from sliding.

Nice and sturdy for large dogs and other animals. Not a cheap looking product. does the job.
