unitechAmerica Barcode Scanner (AS10-U)

I bought this to use with the full size Clover POS system. I was a bit worried, but I had no problems getting it to work. I just followed the instructions, and scanned 1 or 2 barcodes from the instruction sheet and was good to go. I have been using it for 2 or 3 months now and I am very happy with it so far, especially considering the most highly reccomended models were around $200. I use it for “normal” UPC codes. I Do wonder about durability, but considering the price I will be happy if I can get 2 years out of it.

This is a plug and play sccanner that seems to work fine for what I need it to do with my clover system.I did purchase three of these as an open box/warehouse deal becasue the price was to good to pass up.Be aware that there maybe open box/warehouse deals units that are AS10-P (older round keyboard port) and may be sold as AS10-U (usb version). I purchased three of these listed as AS10-U and of the 3, two were the AS10-P model. The plug comes out and changing the connecter should not cause a problem but for some reason it does. "I" figured this out after troubleshooting for 30 minutes with tech support.I never have issues returning with amazon so I just started the seamless process and will be purchasing another two to replace.

Granted, these do not last very long, but they get the job done. Having used these exact scanners for about 3 years now, it's safe to say that with regular use, each scanner has a shelf life of about 1.5 years. The good news is that the price on these is always coming down, so they're not nearly as expensive as they used to be - nor are they as much as their newer version counterparts.

They did not work. I bought 2 of them and neither worked. I got these for the Mini Clover POS register. I have tried them on four different Mini Clover Register and nothing. CLover stated that these were compatible which is why I bought these. I have called Clover support system and they said it was an issue with the scanner themselves.

Untiech's customer support was adiquate but the product received appears to be a different model. I ordered the AS10-U and received the AS10-P.

Buen lector, excelente precio. Me gusta porque es muy barato y funciona bien. El único inconveniente es que aveces no lee el código, sucede como 3 veces de 10, pero por el precio es aceptable.

Pues funciona y sirve para lo que es. No es el mejor, definitivamente, pero si buscan algo relativamente económico pues esta es su opción.

llego en tiempo y forma el unico inconveniente es que es un poco lento y ahora el gatillo tiene un falso contacto es muy dificil hacerlo accionar asi que no es ni bueno ni malo

Buen producto de excelente calidad funciona perfectamente con cualquier punto de venta e identifica todos los códigos de barras a buen precio RECOMENDADO !!!!👍🏻

Excelente producto. A mí me gustó mucho. Es muy fácil de instalar y usar. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Excelente relación costo beneficio.
