I love the Chada Magic Owl. Good looking and discrete neutral deodorizer. Perfect for a closet, car, home office, kitchen or anywhere else you might want some non-chemical removal of unpleasant odors. I bought two - one for myself and one as a nice sticking stuffer for my son who can definitely use a bit of freshening up!

I suppose if you love owls, and think it will attract odors (perhaps smoke, or otherwise), this would be a good product. I noticed no difference in a room, am a non-smoker, just wanted a fresher smelling home.My biggest complain was that the owl wasn't that decorative. It basically looks like a black rock, with a hint of an owl if you really analyze it up-close in the light. If that's your goal, then it's perfect. If you want someone to see it 5' away and be like 'neat owl', that's probably unlikely.

Looks like a lump of coal with sad eyes. Not sure how much odor it really absorbs. I'd say maybe a drawer or closet. Over priced.

I keep the owl in the backseat of our SUV where my daughter keeps her horseback ridding gear. What a difference it makes sucking up the odors of barn and horse. Easily replenish the owl by leaving it in the sun.

I bought this because it looked like the rocks around where I grew up, close to Hilo, and the owl likeness is well regarded in Hawaiian culture. I now live in Minnesota so needed a jolt of Hawaiian. I was surprised how light and porous it felt so maybe it really does the magic it claims. I guess I will see but in the meantime it will be enjoyed for its artistry. Oh, and the little sparkles throughout are subtle and add to the mystic.
