## Description

Golden Artist Colors Insulation coating can be applied to acrylic paintings to unify and protect the surface. Sealing an acrylic paint with a layer of insulation before varnishing ensures an even application of varnish and provides a layer of protection if/when the varnish is removed. 8oz Bottle

Review: Product good - Just as expected

## Features

- Insulation coating is a permanent, ready-to-use sealing layer that is applied between the acrylic color and the removable varnish
- It is important to use glossy products when applying the insulation coat, as satin or matte products can reduce the clarity of the garment and potentially leave a cloudy or dusty appearance
- SEAL any absorbent areas to create a uniform surface to apply the varnish
- Protects paint if or when the varnish is removed by separating the pigmented area of the paint from the solvents used in the removal
- Made in the USA from globally sourced materials by an employee company with over 40 years of experience manufacturing paints for professional artists

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product, well worth the purchase if you want a professional finish.
*by E***S on 14 July 2026*

The product was what I was looking for. I completed a painted picture and wanted protection from it going yellow over time. So far it looks very good and has given it a great professional finish. My husband was sceptical about the picture, but once it had this applied and varnished, he was actually very impressed. Dries very quickly and I would recommend using a foam brush to apply the product.
