why is this using micro usb? does this company know about USB type C?

The manufacturers are ignoring the issue. We don't care if you include a converter in the box. We want all of our devices to be USB-C, so we don't have to keep carrying around the inferior micro USB cables. Just make the product $250 instead of $249 and give us a type C connection.

Has anyone used this mic with the rode psa1 microphone boom - mainly, is the mic heavy enough?

I love my mv7 I’m a full time twitch streamer the only note I will say is buy yourself a good boom arm I have to order a new arm due to the microphone weight but the mic sounds phenomenal the one I have was a cheap boom arm you get what you pay for
