Best of: DR HOOK

I just love Dr. Hook music and this album has the best of the best of Dr. Hook. Have never seen this for sell in the stores.

The only "Hit" that was on this was the first song, after that it's "not the hits" . Also, didn't notice anything special about Sylvia's mother as indicated (Live)....

I had forgotten about Dr Hook and how much I love their sound. Forgot? "When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman" and "Sexy Eyes" ~ ~ ~ This album is great ~ ~ ~ Fun songs like "The Cover Of The Rolling Stone" and "Everybody's Makin' It Big But Me" ~ ~ ~ Boogie with "You Make My Pants Want To Get Up And Dance" and "Making Love And Music" ~ ~ ~ BEST OF ALL ~ Their SOULFUL VOICES and PASSIONATE LYRICS to ("When you think I've loved you all I can I'm gona love you) A LITTLE BIT MORE" ~ and "Sharing The Night Together" ~ ~ ~ and God Bless Sam Cooke ~ They do him justice with "Only Sixteen" I am so glad that I just heard "Sylvia's Mother" (on the radio) and remembered ~ DR HOOK ~

Too many mediocre filler songs. Their Greatest Hits cd has just ten of their best songs and no filler.

Listened to this band growing up. I like them just as much today as I did then.

I LOVE DR. HOOKS MUSIC....VERY SEXY...

I bought this as I grew up with Dr Hook blaring out in the kitchen while my Mum cooked and absolutely love their music as a result (maybe it was drummed into me!). The CD is brilliant and has loads of the famous tracks on it including some of their less well known one. My favourite happy song from the album has definitely got to be You Make My Pants Want to Get Up and Dance, I absolutely love this song it just makes me smile when it plays:) Also my favourite track of all time Sylvia's Mother is on there and as a bonus it's the live version. Mum came around the other day and spotted that I'd bought the album and promptly tried to rob it from me! I think this may be getting bought again but as a birthday present for her so she can keep her mits off my copy! If you are a fan of Dr Hook then this album is for you.
