Is "interval" the time between spot welds in cold mode? do i hold down the switch and it repeats every "interval" seconds, or have to press for each ?

couldn't say, andeli sold me a European model (which they never advertised as one) so I can't use mine because they can't help me fix this problem. Amazon never had them correct the advertising so they don't care either (double-check what you buy!) eBay is good at telling you if it's European or not. as the tube vids show it arcs every time you push the button or footswitch, in cold welding you DON'T hold it down, this process will take a long time but it makes a clean simple weld (not deep though just the surface so doing both sides will be necessary for a stronghold. if you make a 'V' you can use a filler rod and get a better weld but you'll still be doing a lot of 'spot' welding which is exactly what cold welding is but since it's super quick the metal cools off faster hence the 'cold' welding part.  in arc, mig, or tig welding the heat will move outwards and possibly affect everything around it like say plastic the metals attached to
