U.S. Cake Supply 9-Ounce Airbrush Cake Food Color Metallic Gold

I was searching for a shimmering gold food coloring to use for my cookies. I used this both in my airbrush and by hand painting on piped icing or to paint over the white chocolate bows. I was having problems using luster dust in my airbrush b/c it would clog it but this food coloring had a very fine gold liquid that sprayed out nicely using stencils. This was my 1st time using an airbrush and using these types of food coloring and my results were pretty good! It is more yellowish which is what I wanted. Not a dark bronze nor a dirty gold color. This is a metallic shimmering finish with a bright golden color.

Very loose and runny. Did not create the drop effect as shown in product detail pictures. Was very thin like water and spills everywhere.

As others have noted, the color is on the dull side and not as glossy as one might expect. Totally works for most projects, just have to know what to expect.

Used it to color a crown for a cake. The color isn’t exactly gold. It’s more of a yellow with some glitter gold. Although, I would have liked something more gold, I thought it looked nice. I am happy with how it turned out.

I really to like the color, but I was looking for a glossy gold and this is the usual dull gold you can get from Hobby Lobby. It is not a shiny gold.

I wish I had read the reviews first. The color is nothing like what's pictured. It's definitely way more yellow, and not very metallic. Not to mention it's pretty expensive and non-returnable.

Apples came out gorgeous will purchase again true metallic gold color. So pretty didnt want not sure how it taste because I used flavor for my apples.
