Q: Is there a weight limit for each clip ?

They are very thin. I don’t think they would hold heavy drapery.

Q: How securely do these stay closed? Could a baby yank them open accidentally by pulling on the bottom of a curtain?

I am hesitant to answer a safety question when a baby is involved; however, I can tell you what I know about these rings and you can make your decision. The ring design is such that you need to move it sideways before pulling it open. It won’t open by just pulling it apart.

Q: what are dimensions of clips?

An inch & 1/4....study enough that I use them to hold a sliding curtain in my laundry room to hide furnace and hot water tank. I purchased 2 packs.

Q: can I use these to change a regular curtain into a shower curtain?

That would be a great idea. Totally would work!
