High School DxD, Vol. 1 (light novel)

Dxd has been my favorite anime for years, so when it was finally announced that it was getting an official translation I was beyond overjoyed. I'll definitely recommend reading the novel to any and all dxd fans.

It is the best anime I've ever watch. Its been 3 years waiting for Season 5 to be released. Please Release it as soon as possible

Absolutely loved the story, can't wait for the second volume to release. (Definitely comes in my Top 5 light novels of all time )

Started watching the anime before I knew the books existed. After the series ended I bought volume 11 just to know what happens. Now as I wait for volume 12, I've purchased volumes 1 through 10 to get me through the next 6 months. Such a great read. fingers crossed for season 5 🤞😬

This was a blind buy for me, I’ve never watched the anime or had any idea what this was about other than the copious amounts of boobage and fan service I’d seen from clips of the anime. I figured it would be 90% fan service and 10% story/plot, but I was completely wrong.With the place in history this series has, being somewhat of a legendary harem with a cult following; I decided I had to see what all the hype was about. Honestly this volume surprised me, there was fan service, but it actually complimented the story and only made it funnier and more interesting. There’s actually a lot of world building and lore in this volume, and I plan to continue reading to see where this ends up. The only shame is there’s only 2 volumes released at the time of this review. I read this volume quickly too, I was able to finish it in one day and I’m not much of a heavy reader. It’s a page turner, and I had no problems with losing interest or having to skim pages. It also had really good pacing.I’ve researched this series more now that I’ve finished the first volume of it, but supposedly it will become more lewd and have more fan service as the series progresses, so I’m interested in what that’ll entail. All in all, I’d recommend this to anyone who is okay with some fan service, but also wants a well thought out world, with lots of world building and lore. I was happy with the story & plot taking priority over the fan service, which was my biggest concern before reading since there’s 25 in total, but that wasn’t the case. Enjoy

Ya había leído las traducciones no oficiales de la novela. Es genial tener este volumen. Está de sobra decir que soy fan de esta serie, particularmente de las novelas ligeras. El tamaño es un poco más grande de lo que esperaba porque las originales en japonés son más pequeñas, pero no representa ningún problema. Agradecido con el de arriba.
