We pickd up this book hoping that it would give us more insight into what cupping actually is and how it can help us in our own journeys. As someone with natural anxiety and stress, i am always looking for new ways to handle it, without pumping drugs into my system. I absolutely LOve this book! It does a great job of explaining the what, who, how and why of cupping. I had no idea there were so many variants on how to do cupping, but just like anything there sure is. I love learning about the different ways to do it and why each way is most impactful for you or what you're trying to achieve. I was pleasently surprised to find visuals that accompanied many different parts of the book. Though, to be honest, I don't know if the visuals where helpful to keep going or a deterrent lol. I probably would have left ou t the bleeding cupping visual, but that's just me. This book does a great job of giving play by play on different types of cupping and what each type i good for. I don't think I will necessarily try it by myself, but you certainly cacn with all the information. I do feel like i have a major idea on what will work and what wouldn't work for me. I love knowing the why and how when it comes to alternative medicines and this book certainly does a great job of getting that information out there. Definitely recommend it.
