Finally
Being 100 percent digital is NOT the way to go. I never cared for photos until my daughter was born and I’m embarrassed to say I do not have any prints of her. I tried printing online but it was such a process and expensive. This is definitely the appropriate investment for me and the quality is excellent. It’s compact and easy to use. I printed directly from my iPhone albums. Now I can gift photos of my baby to my in laws, parents, and my grandparents.

So good, I bought one for every member of my family!
With everything being digital now and almost all our photos either being stored on some sort of ‘cloud’ or on computers, we don’t get film developed anymore! And the result, nobody has physical printed photos anymore! I miss the days when you dropped your disposable camera off at the drug store and came back to pick up your envelope of photos! I feel like this printer is as close to that as we ever will be again. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy the Canon Selphy ! It’s so incredibly easy to set up and use, basically just plug it in and print ! You can print photos off your iPad/tablet, your phone, & computer or you can plug in a flash drive or memory card and select which photos you want to print.. You can also log in to your Gmail account and print photos from your Google Drive. The quality of the photos is awesome, the color is right on point, & overall the look of the pictures is fantastic! The reason why I decided to go with the Canon Selphy as opposed to one of these other brands of photo printers is because it’s the only one that I know of that prints 4x6 photos. All these other brands print those scaled-down, miniature photos that you can barely see! I can’t even think of a practical use for photos that tiny except maybe if you’re putting them in a smaller scrapbook..? Either way, the Selphy prints perfect size pictures for my scrapbooking and non-scrapbooking needs. So, if you’re like me and prefer to see your photos clearly, you would be wasting your money buying anything else but the Canon Selphy!

I like it a lot, easy to setup and good quality pics
Had to do a quick picture print for my kids first week of school so went to local CVS and paid about $3 for a quick print from my iPhone thought it was about time to buy a photo printer for home. Went online and a quick research and came across this. Remembered a few months ago saw a similar printer in a children’s toy store ( store had a bunny kids could take a free pictur with and would print and give out the free picture using a similar printer , older model perhaps). Anyway went ahead and ordered this they arrived next day delivery. Very easy to connect to my home WiFi and immediately downloaded the app for my iPhone and printer two pictures literally within five minutes of opening the box. Quality is very good and picture cost is 50 cents or so? I don’t think I will be printing batch of pictures with this but will come in handy at occasional pictures here and there, kids parties letting the kids take and print pictures to keep, etc.

Super easy to use but no idea how to edit a photo so I'm limited
I loaded paper and ink without even reading the instructions - just super easy. BE AWARE the FIRST package you get of paper and ink do not do a full 10 prints - it's like a "sampler" (lots of misunderstanding about this) - after that you get the full 10 prints. I'm using it to print old photos from my hard drive to give to family members and it cleans them up nicely. It's just so easy to use it's amazing BUT you are restricted to their products - which luckily are not that expensive given the cost of other ink and paper packages. I just need to figure out how to resize photos that won't fit in the size limit of the photo - I'm sure there is editing software out there that does it but I've never done much picture editing so if anybody has any suggestions it would be appreciated. I'm trying to not cut off the people on the ends of each size. I've tried it horizontal and vertical but it just won't shrink it down. It's also pretty fast and cool to watch as it layers each color on the page. Hasn't failed once - all errors have been mine. Do wish it had some suggestions about editing or at least tell you if you CAN use editing software with this. Also - always leave it ON to keep the ink from drying out.
