One Night: A Novel (Avon Romance)

I loved the way these 2 got together, and then how it went back & forth. Just when you think it's over, another thing pops up. Very enjoyable reading! Made me think about my one night experience, 41 yrs later. Still married to him :)

I've read several of Ms. Macomber's books. Most are romantic with implied sexuality if any at all. Although I'm not a prude by any means, I found the graphic descriptions of sex between Carrie and Kyle to be a bit of a shock because it seems out of character for her writing style. Many of her books have a religious thread in them since they deal with angels or have titles like God's Guest List. No one in this book was remotely angelic.That being said, I found the whole premise of two people who literally hated each other so badly that they were at risk of losing their jobs all of a sudden becoming lovers and planning a life together within a couple of days to be ludicrous. Reminded me of the whole Bachelor/ Bachelorette premise. Life and love just don't happen that way.Ms. Macomber should stick to what she does so very well and leave the graphic sexuality to the Harlequin series that so it quite well. Her attempt seemed like an awkward foray into an unfamiliar territory.

This book had me at the edge of my seat-it was full of suspense and hilarious. I was laughing out loud at times late at night while reading this and the ending?? Let me put it to you this way, well worth reading, something you will always remember.

This bood starts out as two people who cannot stand one another and when thrown together the circumstances that happen to them make them see each other in a different light. I have enjoyed this book by Debbie Macomber because she is one of my favorite authors and I am glad when I can go on line and order it for my Kindle Fire from Amazon. I enjoyed this book and if you are a fan of Debbie Macomber you will too.

I found this book to be very entertaining.I didn't want to put it down. There was only one thing disappointing...I had hoped for a different outcome to one situation. At first I thought it wasn't going to be addressed, but it was covered a little bit later.I've read a number of Mrs. Macomber's books and this one is quite steamy in comparison to the others. Let's just say that this isn't a PG-rated book, but it's well-written.

This book was interesting. And exciting. Romance and comedy was combined to create a novel that kept you reading to the end

A mixture of suspense, humor and romance. A delightful and intriguing story. i can't get enough of her wonderful stories.

This was a very interesting read. I am a big Fan of this author and this book did not let me down. I have already told my friends to read it, without giving the plot away of course. One of the joys from this lady is her ability to make you feel that you are actually there with the characters, so few writers can achieve this.

Sometimes Debbie Macomber loses the plot. I think she has tried to make this story more then two people hating each other and eventually falling in love by introducing an unbelievable sub plot. One of her racier books which I have never read in Debbie's novels before.I would recommend it as a holiday read only.

I loved the story and found the adventure they were involved in quite exciting. A bit of distraction, but it held the threads nicely together. I can't wait to start the next one. Enjoy it I did.

I brought this book with me to Spain and read it out by the pool. Perfect lounging reading!!! Definaely recommended if its easy, yet enjoyable, reading you want.
