Falling in Art 4 Pack 12x12’’ Unfinished Birch Wood Panels Kit for Painting

These are great for acrylics! I needed these for a 4”x6” art show and loved them. They took paint well. I used gesso on some and not others and really didn’t notice a difference.

These were recommended to me for use in 2 different gallery exhibitions. They are thick enough & sturdy. After using gesso the paint remains on the surface (which is why we use gesso). They are perfect for painting, collage, & mixed media. because of the thickness of the cradle, unless one is in a gallery, there is no need for a sawtooth hanger or a wire, they hang steady on a nail.

Good product. None of the wood was damaged when it arrived.

Sometimes there may be some imperfections, but it’s nothing glaring. Well made and affordable.

The package was delivered with care and on time. The panels came tightly wrapped in plastic foil, with corner protectors, so no damage there. The surface, sides and backs of the panels are ok, well finished, with just tiny flaws that I, personally, don’t care about too much, since I tend to work on them with a lot of texturing pastes and gels, so not much of the raw surface will remain visible by the end of my projects. The only issue I found with this particular pack is that some of the panels are not cut straight, to make the 90 degrees that a rectangle should have. And one of the panel is missing a whole 1/8 inch out of its width (see photos). I think I can pull it off this time and for the price I shouldn’t have too many expectations. I ordered from this label in the past, in different sizes, and the panels had no issues. I guess it is a matter of hit or miss.

Not reliable. The veneer bubbles up and peels off when using paint lthined with water.

Looks like mdf wood not birch....very thin....returned back and they send me same again

These came well packaged and no dents or scratches were on these when I opened them up!

wonderful product would probably order again if it wasn’t so pricey. It also took a long time to be delivered too.

Don’t buy these boards, they are not birch but MDF. Now I have all these poor quality MDF boards that I paid good money for. Disappointed.

Terrible. Do not buy these if you want actual square painting panels. They are way more expensive than others which I thought would ensure better quality. They are NOT even squares! AND when I returned it, I was charged half the price of the product to ship it back. Totally unacceptable business practice and a terrible product.
