VansMen's Seldan Shoe

I've been a Converse wearer for many years now, but due to supply issues and me apparently having a very rare foot size, I was unable to find the shoes I normally get. So after some shopping I stumbled across these and gave them a shot. They are super comfortable and feel already broken in after just one day. They look sharp and the laces were a good length, which is a problem I have with Converse sometimes. I've read other reviews that they don't last long, but I walk a lot during the day and I never really expect shoes to last long anyway so we'll see. Also, like Converse, they are very flat but I wear a shoe insert anyway so no problems there. So far I'm happy.

My husband loves the navy blue. He's 75 - I thought everyone should have at least one pair of vans in their lifetime.I love mine and I'm 74 - never too old for cool things!!!

Delivery was earlier than expected. Saw sample shoes at a brick & mortar store but didn't have my size so...Amazon to the rescue! Had to wait a while but it was worth it. Stylish and comfortable shoes...Vans are great!

Should are the most important thing in skate shoes if they can't be removed to be replaced with better souls then the shoes become useless. I'm sure I can sit here scraping away the glued souls but that will take a while and is beyond the point no souls should be glued down.

Got these beauties to replace some stinky old Nikes. These look great and more importantly, smell great; that new shoe smell.

I really like the shoe but there isn't much support in the sole.

Was really happy with these when I first got them, good fit, comfortable and really happy with how they look but after regular wear they have started to fall apart. After around 3 months the join between the upper leather and sole began to split and let water in if it was wet and now after 9 months all the lining on the inside has worn through making them quite uncomfortable to wear.My last few pairs of trainers have lasted around 1 1/2 - 2 years, so it's pretty disappointing to have these in need of replacement after 9 months.Really liked the shoes but lacking the quality I'd expect.

Love these. Great look and nice and roomy for my slightly wider feet. But, these type of trainers are VERY flat inside there is no support at all. I got some supportive innersoles for them and they are now perfect.

I am very disappointed in these shoes. I have had many pairs of Vans in the past and always found them to be great. this pair however I wore to work (I work in a supermarket so it's not like I was wearing them in rugged terrain) after 3 days the rubber on the side of the shoe started to come away from the rest of the shoe (on both shoes) this was caused just from bending down and standing up to stack shelves. Vans need to look at their quality control

These shoes are a much more robust shoe for school than previous old skool vans. When you pay a chunk of money, you expect them to last but unfortunately you pay for the brand name. My son says they are very comfortable. I just hope they last longer than usual.

Impressed with the quality of these shoes and they do look good, although they do make your feet look bigger! They are also quite weighty, so light summer shoes they are not. I have only broken them in by by wearing them indoors, but they are comfortable. Fit was as expected. Pleased with my purchase.
