Loose connections: I connected the first puddle lamp’s wires and it was indeed loose. To solve this, I squeezed the female connectors (on my truck) with needle nose pliers to tighten them. (See photo) I then grabbed the male blade with the needle nose pliers when I pushed the female connector on to prevent the connector from being pushed into the light (see photo). Once started, I removed the needle nose pliers and completed pushing the female connector onto the male blade. 2. Light falls out of mirror: when I put the light into the mirror, it did not seem to “click” into place. Using the needle nose pliers, I pushed the clip into the hole until it clicked. See photos. Note the gap on the clip after it has been clicked properly into the hole. I have no doubt these will not fall out.
