Nice tail lights
I just got them and could not wait to install them on my New Beetle. They fit perfectly.Two things to consider when installing this product:1. You have to use the rubber gaskets from the original tail lights to avoid leackage. It is very easy to remove from the old tail light and kind of tricky to keep in place in the new ones.2. Be careful when connecting the turn light bulb socket to the harness connector since the pins on the socket tend to bend easily.Overall I'm happy with my new tail lights. They give me New Beetle a different look from the rest!

Look great - lacks tabs for gasket
I really like the look and style. Quality - 3.5 out of five. The two were made differently on how the spring assembly mounts. One one good, the other was cheep. The biggest complaint is that they don’t have the nibs to hold the gasket in place. Took way to long to install because the gasket won’t stay in position. This should be a 5 minute install per side - took an hour. Also, the pins on both lamp sockets were bent on arrival. Had to straighten them.Overall happy with the purchase. If the had gasket tabs (like the oem do) and didn’t have bent pins, I would have given a 5.

Passenger side fit well drivers side not so well didn’t come with gasket seals ether only reason I gave them 3 stars is cause my stocks were not usable and these atleast worked will not purchase again*** update 3 months in and there done cracked dnt buy

Don't get me wrong, they look great, but as you can see in the photo, after one month one of the lens started to crack. lots of cracks. The lens is installed under no pressure and by that I mean it's not under stress. I don't know, little upset about this.

Great look and great fit.
The lights look great and fit perfectly. One had a very tiny crack in corner and it has spread. Not sure what to do about that.

These taillights are by far the best fitting ones I’ve found.

1 out 2 meets expectation
Received d/s broken (with a very poor attempt at repair at the tail light hold down). Also, fitment very poor on d/s. P/s not broken/repaired, fitment much better and only reason for 2 stars.

Both taillights leaked and are foggy after 1 day after install.
Both taillights leaked and are foggy after 1 day after install. Unfortunately I didn't install within the 30 days return so know I have 2 crappy taillights. Also no seals and fit and finish is terrible, you have to re use the originals which don't fit well. I had to clean them, heat them up and then fit and it took hours of messing around to fit hem properly and within a day both taillights are foggy...Waste of moneyDo not buy, buy real VW taillights they actually work.
