This seems to do what they promise. I set it up about 20 minutes before we have dinner on an open deck near a brook in Vermont and we have no mosquitos to deal with. No unpleasant smell. Our guests have no idea it is nearby. This is our second year using it. Refills are a bit pricy, but I will order another for the remainder of this season and the start of next season.

Took this to the beach and it worked great for the no seeums. sometimes I would forget to turn it on and would get eaten up. then turn it on and problems goes away. I was out in outerbanks on one of the primative island sleeping in my suburban with the tail gate open. when I turned this on I could sleep all night. when there was wind it was not needed. 3 of us had this device after the hard lesson in the past. once we got these life was so much better. one friend did not have it and they had a rought night. only negative is the liquid evaporates over the year even when the cap is put back on. I did put the cap back on but they are not made to last. I bought two refills over the years and only use them for a limited time. then I have to buy another. expensive per hour use this way. I did contact customer support to see if they will help. lets see if they stand by their product.

Really works well , but it does take a long time to get fully charged, and refills are expensive!

This stuff works great! I was being slaughtered by mosquitoes working on my car. Set this up close byand not a single mosquito scene!

This is my second year using Thermacell EZone guard to protect myself and my family from mosquitoes. What I appreciate the most about Thermo Cell is that there’s no odor and there’s no deet. It’s so easy to use the charge last a long time and it’s been the most effective mosquito repellent. I have been able to find.

I don't think there is another product like Thermacell. I started using them in Florida during my frequent camping trips for nature photography. It is truly incredible how Thermacell can take a trip from unbearable to comfortable in a short 20 minutes. Every evening spent outside now means my Thermacell is providing a mosquito-free bubble for my BBQ's, outdoor activities, parties; anything that would be spoiled by natures blood-thirsty vampires. I have the original and the new, rechargeable version. Both are beyond excellent, making mosquitos crashing your party a thing of the past.

Its not foolproof but it does notably decrease the number of mosquitoes and subsequent mosquito bites. It does last a while so one refill usually lasts a few weeks using it a few hours a day in the evenings. Just remember to cap it off between uses to reduce evaporation. Its nice to be able to sit outside without having to spray myself down with DEET and potentially ruin my clothes. With mosquito spray I would get zero bites, but they would still hover around me. With the Thermacell, I get about 2-3 bites but really no mosquitoes flying around and no DEET on my clothes, so that's the compromise I'm taking.

I’ve been using Thermacell for several years whenever I’m sitting on the deck, attending concerts in the park, or spending time outdoors. There’s no odor and no smoke, which I really appreciate. It just seems to keep the mosquitoes away and makes being outside much more enjoyable. I’ve had a great experience with it and will continue to use it.
