Carefresh Natural Small Pet Bedding 14 liters

I just got this bedding because I found it, thought it would be good, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Little did I know, this is actually the #1 most reccomended pet bedding. I have two rats. They are my babies and I love them! Cedar and Pine bedding will kill rats, just so that everyone knows. That's one of the reason why this bedding is prefered. I got a smaller bag, not huge. I just took out about 2 handfulls of this stuff and it was enough to fill up a 10 gallon aquarium* with the bedding. This bedding feels like ground up egg cartons. It is great at absorbing liquids, I haven't smelt my rats cage (It hasn't made my room smell), and it seems like it would provide a comfortable place for the rats to sleep. * I know that a 10 gallon aquarium isn't the best rat cage, and I have a tank topper on it. I am going to get a bigger cage when I can. Within the next month or two.

my 4 female mice go to town on this stuff. I have them in a tank with a topper- and the bottom is filled pretty deep with some paper towels, this carefresh bedding, some soft wood, and some timothy hay. So far, so good. it definitely feels soft to me, and my mice have no qualms about burrowing in and around all of it. they drag in quite a bit for their nest area, and it does seem to help a bit with the odor between changes, as well as any water that drips from the water bottle up top.

Good at odor control but slightly dusty. It is easy for my grumpy hedgehog to push out of his habitat.

The bedding was a smaller amount than I had expected for $10, and I was disappointed, since I feel like I've gotten more than twice this for $20 before. The product also seemed a bit drier and flakier than I'm used to... the bedding might be a little old and have been sitting around a while. Still, it does the job.

We received the package and it was a teeny tiny bag of paper! The picture of the product I was buying said 10 liters, but we received a bag that was 6 liters. Unfortunately, I do not have time to return the package because we are in desperate need of pet bedding. So i guess we just got ripped off!

This is great whether used by it self or as I usually do (with Aspen wood bedding)....I choose this combination because my hamster loves it he uses the Carefesh to snuggle in his Igloo and he carries it into his tunnel also ...i guess it is comfy for him. It is easy to spot clean and does not smell awful...safe for small animals I would recommend this anytime...it is the best

Works great for my guinea pig. He seems very happy since I switched to this bedding. Also it keeps the odor away for almost two weeks. Well worth the price.

I have always used shavings, but after hearing about the better quality that the bedding ofers I decided to use and I love it. My hamsters love it too as it makes a better nest for them to burrow in.

Wer das normale Carefresh naturaln Premium Bedding bekommen möchte, ist hier richtig - guter Versand. ABER: Ich hatte wie in der Beschreibung gehofft, ich erhalte das Premium Soft Bedding. Soft ist anders - Das Carefresh soft hat eine wesentlich feinere Struktur!!! Ich habe das normale Bedding erhalten. Für den, der es mag perfekt, für mich leider nicht. Habe es zurückgesendet, weil es für meinen Zwerghamster, der nur Zellstoff verträgt (Allergiker) zum Kuscheln im Häuschen nicht geeignet ist und weil ich das falsche Produkt erhalten habe. Das Bild sah ursprünglich anders aus. Jetzt kann man eine andere Verpackung sehen als vorher. Also besser nachfragen, BEVOR man bestellt, sonst kann die Rück-Abwicklung, in welcher ich mich momentan befinde, echt schwierig werden... geht jetzt schon über drei Wochen... Es wäre schon gut, wenn die Beschreibung geändert würde, um eindeutig zu wissen, was man bestellt und bekommt.
