The Doctor (Nashville Neighborhood Book 1)

I kept bumping in to the preview of this book on Facebook ads (under some reading scheme), I must have read the preview at least ten times, then I happened to notice, in the comments, someone mentioned both the name of the book, and the author, and that the book was on Amazon. So I bought the ebook!This book was so easy to read! I started reading it late last night, and have already finished it today. The sex scenes, which are plentiful, are very well written. I’ve spent many years reading erotica, some of it has very clearly been male-orientated, some of it has genuinely made my toes curl in desire. I found this especially enjoyable, in an escapist way, it’s just what I needed in these troubled times. Dr Lowe is very sexy, and Cassidy is much more enjoyable than most insipid female lead characters in romance/erotica. Their sex scenes strike a nice balance between fiery and tender. I don’t think there’s a woman on Earth who hasn’t had the ‘men in uniform’ fantasy, this book plays it out nicely. Someone in one of the other reviews here complained that the characters weren’t fleshed out enough. I disagree, I think it’s a nice balance between getting to know the leads, and not going overboard. This is a fairly short story, it would be at least double the length if the characters were described with more depth, and the risk with this is, sometimes a book can end up veering off, getting too serious or ‘wordy’...and that can make erotica and romance hard to read.Whilst I generally prefer historical romance and erotica, I found the contemporary setting of this book enjoyable. It’s not the literary heavyweight of say, Rebecca, or Lolita...but it’s not supposed to be. It’s fun, light-hearted (for the most part), does have a couple of surprising twists that are a shift from your typical paint-by-numbers romance, and, without giving too much plot away, it does have a satisfying conclusion. Just enjoy it for what it is, it’s got a sexy doctor, a sexy female lead (interestingly, the looks of the doctor and described with much more detail than those of our female lead), lots of hot, well written erotica, and it’s very easy to plough through.I’m going to buy The Pool Boy next and give that a whirl! ;)

This book is so hot! I love an age gap romance but this is next level taboo. It’s his son’s ex-girlfriend! Yikes! The sex scenes were very well written (and I never thought I’d say this) but I thought there were too many of them and not enough story. Having said that, it’s still a fantastic read with great characters and I loved it.

Well written with good characters and dialogue, however it became repetitious with the sex scenes. It could have done without a few and concentrated more on the story and dynamics between the three main characters. The story is what drives this and fighting attraction for an older man. It's predictable but entertaining.This could have been expanded and built upon because the foundations were strong.

It seems I've read this book before and been neglectful in leaving a review.Rereading it was a pleasure, with a little bit of everything from drama to kink involved, as well as some very hot intimate scenes.Definitely one to have in your library.

the doctor by nikki sloane💖💖💖.5/5🔥🔥🔥.5/5this is the 1st book in nikki sloane's nashville neighborhood series..well this book's spice had me 🤤flustered🤤. i had heard good things about this series from nikki sloane and it didnt disappoint. don't get me wrong, there was barely any plot but if you go into this wanting age gap, doctor role play smut - you will not be disappointed..the story follows cassidy and dr greg lowe, who happens to be her soon to be ex's dad. they have been lusting after each other in secret for a while and then it all bubbles over and let me tell you, the attraction/chemistry is off the charts. 📈.i will definitely be reading the other books in this series and would recommend this book for a short, spicy dip into some toe-curling smut..the doctor will see you now ... ❤️‍🔥

HELL YES!! I cannot stop thinking about Dr Greg Lowe, I swear he just lives in my fantasies now.I'm not usually into a purely smutty book, but Jesus whept this has me HOOKED. It was hot as hell, really really hot. The smut is FIRE, so well done, over PAGES AND PAGES. And every taboo thought you have ends up being said by Cassidy or Greg, it lives up to expectations and exceeds.The story line is pretty obvious, I mean she is having s*x with her boyfriends Dad. There is an age gap, and he is a doctor. A SURGEON.I recommend this all the time, 200 pages and worth every second to read.

It’s an okay read, but it lacks a plot. I was waiting for something to happen between Greg and Cassidy (other then them constantly going down on each other) - I’m disappointed nothing enthralling or interesting happened throughout the whole book.I don’t dislike this book. But… do I think it was a waste of time to read? Yes.If you like a forbidden, large age gap (like hello sugar daddy) romance then this is a short fast read that will feed your craving (lol) - Dr. Lowe is old enough to be her dad, which made me feel uncomfortable. Then again, love has no bounds and age doesn’t matter. Unless she’s a minor! Thankfully she isn’t or I’d have to cleanse myself in bleach. Follow the law!

The story is so ridiculously weak - I mean I like to read sexy books..but this is all sex with no back bone. I had to skin read - I hate to leave a book..,and there were sooo many fantastic reviews, I persevered. It was only bearable. Cassidy is just plan slow and weak, love interest 1 and 2 - god they are related and it shows in their personalities in the book not in good way!! Just me I guess

Great book to read.

This book is not for faint hearts. I love the story, the characters and writing style. It's a very smutty book, but also sweet and leaves nothing to be desired. Love it

Nikki Sloane never disappoints! This was a fun read, hot as well, very hot, and I loved it!

If you love a good age gap book this is definitely a good one! A easy and relatively quick read but I enjoyed it very much!
