3MEureka DCF-21 Allergen Vacuum, 1 Filter, Red

This filter is the perfect fit for my Eureka vacuum. It is easy to install and with regular thumping to get the dust out, it last quite a while. My last filter lasted around 9 months before it needed to be changed.The filter is very sturdy which is great because it takes a bit of pressure and shoving to get the filter locked into place in the top of the dust bin. The handle is sturdy enough to take a bit of abuse. It also provides a handle for thumping the filter against the trash can. (Wear a mask if you do this and are allergic. Gloves also if you are touch sensitive!)This filter catches a surprising amount of dust that would be spewed back into the air. I try to check it once a month and thump it out, plus clean off any clinging cat or dog fur. This helps the filter last longer. The only thing that would be better would be if the filter were washable.

I’ve had my Eureka vac for several years and after changing this filter, it works as well as it did when it was brand new. I tried to clean the old one and there was some improved suction, but with this new one......WOW! 2 seconds to install. Filtrete brand in red box, just as advertised. Next day delivery in great condition. Relatively good price for a very well made, and perfectly fitting, filter. I’ll be back for another one when it’s time. Very satisfied!

This 3M Filtrete Eureka DCF-21 Allergen Vacuum Filter, 1 pack is amazing. It fit in my crappy, poor man's vacuum cleaner and filtered some stuff that I sucked up from the floor 3 years ago in my crappy apartment. Now that I own a house with hardwood floors throughout (humble brag) I don't need peasant stuff like this. But if you do need a new filter for your Eureka whatever than this should work, or maybe not who knows. I do know that you should never attempt to rinse out this filter with water and then let air dry and expect it to not stink and then not stink up everytime after you turn your vacuum cleaner on.

I have two filters. I rotate them. I wash them in the sink with soap and water occasionally. I use my shopvac to help clean the filter between washings. I do miss the days of bag vacuums. You either need a vacuum to clean the filter, or replace the filter every month.

Works great and much cheaper than the stores (including the Walmart). Fit is very snug but much better than being lose I guess. It takes a beating around our house since remodeling (yes our vacuum gets used like a shop vac) and all the animal hair.

My living room floor actually looks clean! Who knew that changing your filter would actually have such a difference. This is my first vaccuum and it has lasted me so well for so long. Also WOW! I don't know how Amazon does is but the filters through here are about $6 cheaper than if I bought them at the walmart in my town. I only wish that there was a subscribe and save option since I know I'm going to need them regularly.

Get Eureka brand not a cheaper brand. The cheap ones don't have as many waffles and get all fuzzy (fibers coming apart). Well worth the money.

I have a Eureka Airspeed 1000 vacuum. I have tried several generic filters that I bought from different Amazon sellers to replace the genuine brand that came with the vacuum. All have been just as sturdy as the Eureka brand filter. Some have not clicked into place very well. This one clicks into place and stays secure. However, the inside of this filter does not get dirty like the others. When I had this filter in my vacuum, it seemed to lose suction faster than other generic brands or the Eureka brand. Washes well though.
