Put this sight on a S&W M&P Pro C.O.R.E. .40 cal. Had to remove the rear sight to access on/off button. Did not co-witness the factory sights so no big deal. So far, only a few hundred rounds with it. Works every time. The vertical adjustment was a bit tight but sighted in well and seems to hold. I have had positive customer service with L3com in the past and know they will fix any problems if they occur. I think it is the best bang for the buck.

The Insight MRDS is an outstanding tactical mini red dot sight! It is so light that its weight is almost completely negligible, no matter what type of weapon you mount this on. I originally mounted it on my XD45. Sighting in was very easy with the wind-age and elevation screws, and was very accurate. This sight allows you to scan a target area with both eyes wide open, focused on the target area only, with the red dot just floating clearly in front of you. The sight maintained zero through hundreds of rounds through my XD45. I recently moved it to an AR15 for testing and was equally pleased with its accuracy and ease of use. This is also one of the few mini red dot sights that has brightness adjustment capability so that the red dot does not "overpower" you in low light situations. Insight's customer service is just as outstanding as the sight. I managed to scratch the lens on my sight. I contacted Insight for details on the cost to repair or to replace the lens. They sent me a return authorization number for warranty repair, and quickly sent back what looks to be a brand new sight at no cost!!! You can't ask for more than that! This sight is not inexpensive, but if you want a very small and lightweight sight that you can depend on, I highly recommend this one! I love it! (Insight now offers a lightweight aluminum shroud to mount the MRDS in for added protection, and which does not greatly increase the size of the sight signature. I highly recommend this as well.)
