Why are people giving this high ratings? It's a terrible, lazy book
How bad is this book? Let me count the ways!1. The writer often refers to the group as "Pink Floyd". That's with the quotation marks. I have no idea why.2. Other times, she refers to the group as Floyd. No-one does this.3. The book is mostly just a list of tour dates and venues, such as you can find easily online.4. There are also a few pages write-up for each touring year. These are riddled with errors, such as (if I remember correctly) saying the band didn't tour for 19 months after 1974, and that Echoes was never played again after 1975.5. The formatting for the tour dates and venues isn't consistent - it swaps around two-thirds of the way through. No-one thought about editing the text, it would seem.6. There's just nothing new or useful to this book, which is basically just a list of tour dates. That's ALL THERE IS. You can find this information on Wikipedia for free.

Not what I expected
If you are looking for a book full of beautiful glossy concert pictures, this is not it. You will find some pictures of the band, many pictures of concert posters and tickets, and lists of concert dates. The pages are matte so all the pictures look a bit dull. This book is more for data fans than for music fans, I suppose. What is worse, the book is considerably thinner than suggested in the pictures in the product description, which is rather misleading.
