Are they form fitting, that's what I am looking for?** A: I wear a 7.5-8 but got an 8 for wearing with thick socks. With thicker socks on they fit perfectly. With bare feet or regular socks, these boots fit bigger on my foot. The 7 was too small for me for what it’s worth. **Q: How do I get a women’s 8.5... it’s saying that’s what hunter recommends for me?** A: I don't think they make half sizes. If they did it would likely be carried on Amazon. Did you try the hunter website? **Q: I normally wear 7.5-8 (38-39 european) but I have very narrow/thin feet. What do you recommend?** A: Definitely order size down, I wear a 7.5-8 and bought an 8. I did keep them, but they are very roomy... I will order my next pair in a 7. **Q: These boots Are pretty expensive are they durable enough for sloshing through thick mud and clam digging in tide pools?** A: I feel they would work for you. They are very durable. Yes a little pricey however so far I love mine. I use them out on or land going through thick mud and rocks and they are great so far.
