Bought this the hold the box for my Samsung frame TV and to hide it and my apple TV in my living room. I'm very pleased with how well this fits everything and how seamlessly it hides all the equipment in a main living space. Very happy with the size and quality

Love the way this keeps the space behind my TV to a minimum clearance.

This 14" X 17" size Media box is perfect for putting everything behind the TV so there's no wires showing. There's a provision for a 110v outlet, room enough for something like a Nvidia Shield or Firestick streamer, and knockout ports for ethernet as well. Fits between two studs vertically, and theres even a cover to dress up the opening if thats important to you. Its well made and relatively easy to install, follow local codes with regard to wiring the outlet.

Work out great

I had my modem and wifi router laying near the wall and it was pretty ugly. Once one of my cats chewed on power cable for wifi router, I decided that it is a time for action and that's how I found this enclosure. I actually ordered a different enclosure first, but that other one was massive and my wife didn't like it at all. This enclosure is much slimer and when you look from the side of the wall, that doesn't seem extend a lot past the wall. As you can see, I was doing retrofit, and I still need to pass through electrical wire to connect outlet for this box - which is a task I will focus on in near future. Other than electrical cable, retrofit install was super easy to accomplish. Distance between my studs was probably 1/4 in wider than the box, but inserts that I screwed to studs allowed for that extra space, so there was no need to shim anything. There are inserts that you can use to attach this box to the drywall. I ended up not using them, and now I actually plan to shift my box a bit deeper in the wall, so that inside space is a bit bigger - this google nest wifi barely fits in the box because of its size.

I’ve installed several of legrand’s in-wall enclosures and I have been very satisfied with the experience. These are a great option for DIY without having to call an electrician or violating code, as with the optional accessory kit you can route power to one or more outlets safely. The accessories don’t stop there, though, and they’re mostly readily available through here. Previously, I was using a competitor’s structured wiring enclosures, which worked great, but it was incredibly difficult to find many of their accessories, and often I was stuck buying from online auction sites and shady low voltage specialty shops that didn’t ship parts of my orders on more than one occasion. My main criticism of these units is that the covers have very large pass through openings, and no accessory to fill them, which can be unsightly if you don’t plan to utilize a TV mount or other cover.

Great, easy to install. I’m usually not a fan of plastic, but this box is sturdy and well priced. Install took about 30 minutes.

I haven't finished the install yet - my electrican has to wrap things up before the stucco guys seal everything. I got this box because of the good reviews & videos and I wanted the option to have lots of space inside if needed for the Samsung The Frame control box, for example (Haven't decided on final TV yet). So far the box is mounted on studs through the vertical sides of the box, and the bottom of the box (the lower width of the box) has had a plastic (hence light weight) power box installed in it - BUT the build quality just seems a little lacking. It flexes back and forth just way too much. Plugs are going to be pushed in an out of the power box (even though very infrequently, since this box will be behind a wall-mounted/flush flatscreen TV). But even so. For a premium-priced product made of injection-molded plastic that has to cost less than 50c to manufacture, this feels like a little bit of a rip off. It wouldn't have taken much at all to make the sides just a few mm wider/more rigid!

This is a waste of time. Bracket is missing.
