Will it fit a kabar short fixed blade with a 5" 1/4" blade ?

Probably, it is just a neoprene sleeve that the knife sheath sits in that is 1 7/8 " X 3 1/4" and the mounting distance for the slot in the knife sheath is 6 1/2 " from bottom of sleeve. Thank You, Saguaro Scuba

What does the blade look like? Is it serrated on one side?

This knife in the picture has a 3" serrated section on one side with a line cutter. Please note it is not included in this listing which is for the neoprene knife holder only. Please let us know if we can further help in any way. Thank you, Daryl C. HouseofScuba

Will it fit a Gerber 9 inch knife with 4.5 inch blade

It would depend on the shape and size of the sheath. It should fit as long as its not abnormally large or wide. Thank Hope this help please contact us at 1-866-728-2293 if you have any other questions

I have a rapala 4" ceramic utility knife. It has a hard plastic sheath but there's no belt slot or holes to attach straps. Will this holster work?

Hello, Thank you for your question! While the size of your knife won't be an issue, the lack of threading on the sheath may prove problematic with this set-up as you would be forced to rely on only the pocket portion of the holster without any reinforcement. A sheath with the ability to thread is recommended, otherwise the risk of losing the blade is increased. Please let us know if we can further help in any way. Thank you, Dusty HouseofScuba
