It's not velvety soft, but it's strong and better for the environment.
I have searched high & low for a environmentally friendly toilet paper. So far, this is the best that I have found. It's not fluffy, but it's very sturdy. You don't feel like it's going to fall apart as you use it. Again, it's not velvety soft like Contonelle. But, it's a quality product that works great for our family.
