Works pretty well mask sure you keep the zipper up at all times makes it useless if it doesn’t zip because it becomes loose. I feel more secure having it up. I don’t have it screwed to the base as they suggest you do but it would definitely make it completely secure. It’s a good product

Once our son started to roll and crawl, we were terrified of him falling off the bed, so we ordered these bed rails. The number of times these bed rails have caught him are insane! They are a MUST if your bed is lifted off the ground and if you have a hyperactive baby like us.

Directions are extremely hard to understand. Had to have husband put it together and he even said the directions weren't helpful. Impossible to lower both ends at once due to legnth and having to press two things on each end at the same time. I still have to Schick to the bottom of the bed to get out Doesn't fit tightly against mattress.

Very easy to assemble on it's own and attaches easily to a second rail. Liked the foam padding on the top rail. Just too big of a gap at end of mattress when two rails are attached. Rail stops short a good amount, baby could fall through.

This was incredibly easy to install and setup, and honestly (and most unexpectedly but importantly) the fact that you can slide the barrier up and down whenever you need to is just perfect.So many times I’ve had one kid already asleep and need to get to the other side of the bed, and being able to just slide this down, put the other kid in bed, then slide this back up is just perfect.It’s pretty sturdy and stays in place incredibly well for one of these that doesn’t physically lock onto the bed frame/box spring.All in all we love this and are so glad we went with this brand and this model, would HIGHLY recommend.

Love this! It’s so easy to use! Our 18m sleeps 75% of the time in her crib and then around 4-6am wakes and won’t go back down unless she’s in our bed. My husband leaves for work around 6am and we put this on his size of the bed and it works so well! He just slides it up (it’s not loud and doesn’t wake the baby) and helps me sleep easier when she’s rolling all around that she won’t fall off! We have a pretty heavy mattress so I don’t worry too much about it coming out. There is a small gap of a few inches between her and the rail but we put a pillow by it and it’s fine. Def recommend !

So once the rail is up, it does the job of preventing child from falling out of bed — but if your child or baby is the type to wake easily to sounds or movement — hard pass. After unlatching one side to lower, you have to position the rail just right in order to unlatch the other side. This is really annoying and difficult to do while holding a sleeping baby/child. Furthermore, if you are holding your child and need to lower the rail in order to place them in bed, the latch is hard (for me) to do one handed because you have to simultaneously press a button and pull a spring back (I do, admittedly, have small hands). When you are latching the rail to keep it up, it makes a very loud click which has caused my kiddo to wake. I have to pull it up all the way and slowly release the spring in the perfect position in order to prevent this.The barrier is tall - which is great! But it prevents me from just lowering my child into bed without essentially dropping them. Personally— wouldn’t repurchase.
